A full-time or part-time member of a Police Department shall be present for each event at a rental hall that is subject to this chapter where there are forty (40) or more attendees or if alcohol is being served at the event, beginning from the start time to the end time listed in the permit application in order to protect the public peace and to insure order. The expense of such police attendance at a rental hall shall be the responsibility of the permittee.
