This ordinance is intended to stipulate regulations for the administration of the demolition of any deteriorated, dilapidated structure that has been declared a public nuisance, has been determined a public health and safety hazard, and affects the general welfare of the community. It shall be considerate of opportunities for preservation and material recycling, the proper disposal of debris and potentially harmful materials, and the re-use of the land.
