The Electrical Inspector shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to confirmation by Council and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
The duties of the Electrical Inspector shall be as follows:
(a) Administer and enforce all laws and ordinances relating to the installation, maintenance, alteration and repair of electrical wiring and equipment;
(b) Act on all applications and permits for the installation, maintenance, alteration and repair of electrical wiring and equipment and to pay the fees collected by him through such permits or otherwise in the performance of his duties, into the Municipal Treasury each month;
(c) Inspect and test all electrical wiring and equipment as required by the laws of Ohio and the ordinances of this Municipality; and
(d) Keep complete records of all permits issued, fees collected and inspections made, as well as other official work performed and to submit to Council his report on such activities once each year.
