183.03 POWERS AND DUTIES OF DIRECTOR.
   The Senior Advocacy Liaison Director shall provide leadership for the delivery of services and support that will improve and promote the quality of life and personal choice for older Ohioans, and their families and caregivers. Subject to the direction and approval of the Mayor, the Senior Advocacy Liaison Director shall:
   (a)   Plan, develop, direct, administer and evaluate multiple statewide human services programs and procedures.
   (b)   Implement outreach strategies for internal and external stakeholders interested in programs directed for the City residents with programming, services and activities.
   (c)   Identify and nurture strategic partnerships; work with state and local governments, institutions of higher education and private employers to incorporate aging Ohioans' needs into plans, policies and services.
   (d)   Establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with leadership and program staff in partner agencies.
   (e)   Act as liaison with community and/or governmental officials and representatives; attend seminars, conferences and meetings.
   (f)   Develop programs and establish partnerships to promote healthy aging.
   (g)   Give attention to duties in a timely manner.
