The Director of Public Safety is authorized to prescribe rules and regulations and the uniform which shall be worn by such private police officers wherever and whenever their services are conducted. Such private police officers shall each give bond, by a bonding company authorized by law in the State, in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Safety. There shall be a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per year or any portion thereof. All renewal fees shall be due and payable on January 1.
