(a) The position of Assistant Finance Director is hereby created.
(b) Appointment to such position shall be made by the Mayor. Such appointment shall be for such period of time and under such conditions as may be determined at the time of the appointment, and shall be subject to termination by the Mayor at any time.
(c) The Assistant Finance Director shall perform such duties as the Director of Finance shall assign and prescribe for the office.

(d) The Assistant Finance Director is hereby authorized to sign checks, drafts, notes or orders for the payment of money on behalf of the City as is necessary at the direction of the Finance Director. (8-16-91)
