(a) The Director of Law shall serve the Mayor, all administrative departments, boards and officers of the Municipality and the City Council as attorney and legal counsel in all proceedings, in court or before any administrative body.
(b) No other duties shall be imposed directly or indirectly as a matter of law unless otherwise provided by ordinance of Council, or as approved by the Mayor.
