The requirement of this chapter shall take precedence over any sewer requirements as to material and size in any Building Code, Plumbing Code or other ordinance or resolution of the Municipality, except for the optional use of cast-iron pipe when imbedded in concrete slabs, and any section of any ordinance, resolution, code or regulation of this Municipality inconsistent with or contrary to the requirements of this chapter, with the exception noted, is hereby repealed. However, the requirements of this chapter shall be deemed minimum requirements and shall not affect the obligation to comply with any additional or more exacting requirements prescribed by any ordinance, resolution, code or regulation of this Municipality or of any other governmental authority having jurisdiction over sewer requirements.
