1363.05 WIDTH OF DRIVEWAYS.
   (a)   Each driveway or apron permitted under the provisions of this chapter shall be of a width not exceeding twenty-five (25) feet and not less than ten (10) feet, except those driveways wherein the property frontage or frontage at the building line is fifty (50) feet or less and an unattached garage is built or to be built, in which case the width of the driveway may be reduced to no less than eight (8) feet. No driveway shall be constructed less than a minimum of six (6) inches from the lot line. The construction of such driveways and aprons shall be in accordance with driveway and apron plans and specifications on file in the office of the Building Commissioner. The width of a driveway which meets maximum width shall not be extended by the installation of a walkway of any means unless approved by the Planning Commission and Council.
   (b)   Three-Family and Commercial Businesses: Each driveway or apron permitted under the provisions of this chapter shall be of a width not exceeding forty (40) feet for a two-way driveway. The minimum width for a two-way driveway shall be twenty-five (25) feet. For a one-way in or out driveway the width shall be a minimum width of sixteen (16) feet. Driveways that enter the public roadway shall have a minimum of two exit lanes, one for left turns and one for right turns. This type driveway shall have a minimum width of twenty-five (25) feet. There shall also be one entrance lane of fifteen (15) feet minimum width. The Curb Radius shall be a minimum of fifteen (15) feet or a maximum of thirty (30) feet.
