The provisions of the Ohio Building, Plumbing, and Mechanical Codes shall apply to the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, use and occupancy, location, maintenance, removal and demolition of every building or structure or any appurtenances connected or attached to such buildings or structures. No building or its equipment or accessories, to which the rules of the Board of Building Standards apply, shall be erected, constructed, or installed, except in conformity with the rules of the Board, excluding those exceptions set forth in Section 4101:1-1-01 of the Ohio Administrative Code.
