943.06 ABATEMENT OF NUISANCES; COST.
   Whenever in the opinion of the Building Commissioner any of the nuisances defined in Section 943.05 exists, he shall cause written notice to be served upon the owner of the property on which such nuisance is located, setting out the nature of the nuisance and requiring its abatement within such reasonable time as he shall determine. If the nuisance is not abated within the required time, the Director of Public Service shall cause it to be abated, and such owner shall be served in the manner provided by law with an account of the cost of such abatement. If the cost is not paid within thirty days, the Director of Public Service shall report the same to Council, which may assess the cost upon the property.
