A. Except as provided in section 1-4-3 of this chapter, any person convicted of a violation of any section or provision of this Code, where no other penalty is expressly set forth, shall be fined a sum of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00). B. Any person shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of any provision of the ordinances of the City is committed, continued or permitted by any such person, and shall be punished accordingly. (Ord. 2563, 1-18-2010)
C. In addition to a fine, pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 579, the court may impose a period of conditional discharge or court supervision up to six (6) months. The court may also order restitution. (Ord. 2695, 2-21-2012)
D. A "violation" includes any act which is prohibited or made or declared to be unlawful or an offense by this Code or any ordinance; and any omission or failure to act where the act is required by this Code or any ordinance. (Ord. 2563, 1-18-2010)
