At the time of the repossession of any motor or nonmotor vehicle, the person repossessing the same shall post a letter in a conspicuous place at the residence of the person from whom such vehicle is being repossessed, if known, and if unknown, at the place of such vehicle, immediately prior to such repossession stating the information required by subsections 4-8-3D, E, F and H of this chapter.
