§ 32.20  RULES OF FIRETRUCK OPERATION.
   (A)   The driver of any firetruck shall refrain from the use of intoxicants.
   (B)   When making a run to a fire, a firetruck driver shall continually sound or cause to be sounded a bell, siren, or other device to warn the public and all vehicle drivers at the time using the streets over which said truck is driven or likely to be driven because of its near approach.  Thereupon, other vehicle drivers shall immediately drive their vehicles as close as possible to the right side of the street and shall come to a complete stop, and shall not follow the firetruck within 500 feet to said fire, provided the provisions of this section shall not apply to any member of the Fire Department in going to or from the fire, but such vehicles at all times shall give the right-of-way to the firetruck.
   (C)   No person, other than members of the Fire Department, shall get upon or ride upon a firetruck when going to or from fires unless requested to do so by the Fire Chief or acting Chief.
