A $75 meter deposit shall be paid to the town to be held without interest in the account of the applicant as a part of each electric service connection turn on application, and each application for service reestablishment pursuant to § 51.34, submitted to the town. Upon a termination of electric service to that applicant, that deposit shall be applied against that connection's account obligations to the electric utility, with any then remaining balance to be refunded to that applicant.
