1325.10 SIGNS FOR CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.
   (a)    No sign, billboard or sign board shall be permitted within the central business district area, except as may be directly related to the business being conducted within the project area.
   (b)    The construction and use of signs must be consistent with the character of the area. All signs in the area shall advertise only the business itself located in the area.
   (c)   Spotlight illumination for signs shall be provided in such a manner that no bulb or tube is visible from the outside of the building.
   (d)   Awnings and canopies are permitted for public convenience. No advertising shall be placed on any awning or canopy, except that the name of the owner and the business industry or pursuit conducted within the premises may be painted or otherwise permanently placed in a space not to exceed eight inches in height on the front and side portions thereof.
   (e)   Nameplates not exceeding one (1) square foot in area, containing only the name of the resident, title of person practicing a profession, name of building and the name of the agent shall be permitted.
   (f)   All signs in the CBD shall be approved by the Warren Redevelopment and Planning Corporation as provided in Section 157.01 of the Administrative Code
