Any person desiring to hold an auction sale of the goods, wares or merchandise allowed in this chapter, shall file a sworn written application with the Mayor for a license stating the address of the applicant, the place where the sale is to be conducted, a statement of the type of merchandise to be offered, and the name and address of the auctioneer who will conduct the proceedings.
