(a) A person who is subject to an order of the Fire Prevention Bureau under this chapter and who disagrees with such order, or claims that the provisions of this Fire Prevention Code do not apply, or claims that this Fire Prevention Code has been misconstrued or wrongfully interpreted, may appeal from that order or decision to Council within thirty days of the order or decision.
(b) The original order of the Fire Prevention Bureau shall remain in effect while any such appeal is pending.
