If the owner of a premises fails to comply with a demolition order within the time prescribed, the Code Official shall cause the structure to be razed and removed, either through an available public agency or by contract or arrangement with private persons, and the cost of such razings and removal shall be charged against the real estate upon which the structure is located and shall be a lien upon such real estate, all in accordance with Chapter 1323.
If a structure is razed and removed pursuant to this section, and the owner(s) of the premises fails to reimburse the City for the cost thereof within thirty days after the completion of the razing and removal, the City Director of Law shall pursue, or cause to be pursued, such reimbursement from the owner(s). The City Director of Law shall also pursue any available lien(s).
