Upon written application, in a form to be determined by the Director of Public Service and Safety, for a permit to move any building or structure through and over the streets, lanes, alleys, public ways or grounds of the City and the execution of a bond in a sum not less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) conditioned as may be determined by the Director of Public Service and Safety and the permits to be conditioned that the person will pay any and all damages to any tree, pavement, street, sewer, walk or public building or structure of any kind, and all damages resulting to any person which may be caused by the carelessness or negligence of the person receiving the permit or his agent, employee or workman while engaged in the removing of any building in the streets, alleys, lanes, public ways or public grounds of the City and conditioned also, that the person who holds the permit will save and indemnify and keep harmless the City against all liabilities, judgments, costs and expense which may in any way accrue against the City in the consequence of the granting of the permit, and will in all things strictly comply with the conditions of the bond and permit, such permit may be granted by the Director of Public Service and Safety, but the same shall limit the time for the removal of any such building.
