Numbers on residences shall be placed in the center of the top riser to the steps approaching the house from the street. On business blocks and stores, the numbers shall be placed in the center of the entrance door. If such locations are impractical, another location may be selected by the owner, with the approval of the Director of Public Service and Safety.
