Each off-site infectious waste treatment facility located within the corporate limits of the City shall pay, to the City a fee of five dollars ($5.00) per ton on the treatment of infectious wastes at that facility. Such fees shall be paid, monthly to the Treasurer of the City. Each remittance shall be accompanied by a return indicating the total amount of infectious wastes received at the facility for treatment during the month to which the return applies.
The fees discussed in the preceding paragraph shall be, and are, in addition to all other applicable fees and taxes and shall be added to any other fee or amount specified in a contract that is charged by the owner or operator of an off-site infectious waste treatment facility. The fees discussed in the preceding paragraph shall be paid into the General Fund of the City and expended in accordance with applicable law, rule or regulation.
