The driver of a taxicab shall, if requested, provide the person paying for hire of the same, at the time of payment, a correct receipt therefor. Upon the receipt shall be legibly printed or written the name of the owner, a method of identifying the taxicab and its driver, all items for which a charge is made, the total amount paid and the date of payment.
