The Director of Public Service and Safety, or department designated, may, upon payment of the cabby license renewal fee, renew a cabby license from period to period, requiring anew the information provided in this chapter for the new license. A driver, in applying for a renewal license, shall make application not less than thirty days next preceding the expiration of the license to be renewed, upon a form to be furnished by the Director of Public Service and Safety and entitled “application for renewal of cabby license”. Such application shall be completed by the applicant, and submitted together with the then existing license, current Ohio operators license number, and such other information as may be required.
