The members of the Boxing and Wrestling Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve without compensation for a term of two years, such term beginning not later than February 15 and running continuously for a period of two years until such date between January 1 and February 15, as the Mayor shall see fit to make appointment or reappointments. If for any cause a vacancy occurs in such Commission, such vacancy shall be filled by appointment thereto for the unexpired term.
