2.24.110: PRINCIPAL OFFICER OF THE COURT:
All writs or processes, which may be issued by the judge or the clerk of the court, shall be directed, in his official title, to the chief of police of this municipality, who shall be the principal officer of the court. He shall execute all such writs or processes, provided, that such duties of service may also be performed by any member of the police force of the city. (Ord. 526 §1, 1982)
