Unless otherwise provided in the utility service agreement, the customer agrees that delinquent accounts shall accrue interest on the unpaid balance until paid in full in an amount equal to the statutory rate of interest or the rate of interest on judgments as established by the Supreme Court, whichever shall be the greater. In addition, the City shall be entitled to recover a reasonable attorney fee and costs incurred in the event collection efforts are required to recover sums due on accounts. Interest, attorney fees and other costs may be included in and secured by the lien filed against the property as provided herein. (Ord. 1013 §1, 2006)
