It is the purpose of this article to protect, maintain, and enhance the environment of the city of Warr Acres and the short term and long term public health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Warr Acres by controlling discharges of pollutants to the city's stormwater system and to maintain and improve the quality of the community water into which the stormwater outfalls flow, including, without limitation, the lakes, rivers, streams, ponds, wetlands, sinkholes, and groundwater of Warr Acres.
