12.02.240: PERMANENT REPAIR STANDARDS:
A.   Permanent repair of all concrete street cuts shall be constructed of Portland cement concrete, three thousand five hundred (3,500) psi at twenty eight (28) days, of a minimum depth of eight inches (8"), and shall extend twelve inches (12") on each side of the earth excavation.
B.   Permanent repair of all asphalt concrete shall be constructed on a minimum six inch (6") Portland cement concrete base with a minimum of two inches (2") of asphalt surface over the concrete base, and shall extend twelve inches (12") on each side of the earth excavation.
C.   All permanent repair shall be constructed so as to be flush with the existing surface of the street opened. If a settlement should take place at any time after a cut has been permanently repaired, the necessary amount of pavement shall be removed in accordance with the direction of the city, the proper amount of backfilling shall be done, and repairs shall be made to the pavement at the expense of the party responsible for the original cut.
