A record of the permits issued where a fee is charged under this chapter shall be kept by the city clerk. Such permits issued will in no case be taken to cover a cut, drilling or pushing at any other point nor of a dimension greater than six inches (6") either way than that shown on the permit. In cases where it is found necessary to make a greater opening, a new permit shall be taken out and an additional deposit made. No permit shall be issued more than five (5) days before the cut or excavation or drilling or pushing is to be made or work thereon commenced. No person, persons, firm, corporation or municipality shall allow his or its name to be used to obtain a permit or permits for any other person, persons, firm, corporation or municipality. In no case will two (2) parties be allowed to use the same opening except by special written permission of the city. (Ord. 861 §1, 1998)
