9.02.040: ASSAULTING AN OFFICER:
A.   It is unlawful and an offense for any person to assault, batter, or assault and batter any city officer, police officer, or city official while such officer is engaged in the performance of official duties.
B.   Any person violating this section shall upon conviction be fined two hundred dollars ($200.00), plus court costs. (Ord. 729 §1, 1992)
