The members of the variance board shall serve for a term of three (3) years or until their successor is appointed; provided that of the first five (5) members appointed, two (2) shall serve for a term of two (2) years and one shall serve for a term of one year. The terms shall expire on June 30 in the year in which the term would expire, regardless of the date of appointment. Members may be removed for cause. A member appointed to fill a vacancy shall serve the remainder of the unexpired term. (Ord. 410 §1, 1976: Ord. 316 §9(c), 1970)
