6.08.180: APPLICATION FOR SEARCH WARRANT; ISSUANCE:
A.   The application for the search warrant shall be signed and sworn to by the animal control officer or his representative and shall be accompanied by an affidavit or affidavits containing facts within the personal knowledge of the affiant or affiants that there is probable cause for the issuance of a search warrant for certain premises, and that entry therein has been denied or unduly delayed by the occupant or person in apparent charge.
B.   Thereupon, the proper magistrate may issue a search warrant directed to the animal control officer or his representative authorizing him to enter and inspect the premises. The search warrant shall name and describe with reasonable particularity the place to be inspected, the reason for inspection, and the name of the applicant on whose written application the warrant was issued.
