6.08.140: CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, HERPTILES AND FOWL:

Proper care of and treatment of all animals, herptiles and fowl shall be required. It is unlawful for any person to maltreat, neglect, improperly confine, fail to act or commit any act which results in cruelty to any animal, herptile or fowl. Any person violating this section shall upon conviction be fined a sum not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00), plus court costs. (Ord. 692 §5, 1989)
