6.08.130: DEAD ANIMALS:
The animal control officer and/or his representative is directed and authorized to remove all dead animals found upon boulevards, streets, alleys and other city property, and the animal control officer is authorized to enter upon private property for the removal of the same, upon request of the owner. It shall be the duty of any person having knowledge of the whereabouts of any dead animal to notify the animal control department and to give the location where the dead animal may be found. Every person who strikes any animal with a vehicle and injures or kills such animal should notify the animal control department immediately after the occurrence giving time and place of injury or death, together with a description of the animal, and the name and address of the person making the report.
