6.08.121: NUMBER OF DOGS OR CATS PER HOUSEHOLD:
A.   Owning, possessing or harboring more than four (4) dogs or cats, or combination thereof, in a single household by any person is prohibited. Exception: This prohibition shall not apply to any duly licensed kennel or veterinary clinic in the city. Nor shall cats which are duly vaccinated and licensed as of October 1, 1985, if counting them would exceed the limitation of licensed pets per household.
B.   Any person found to be in violation of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of an offense and subject to a fine of twenty five dollars ($25.00) for each day the violation continues as each day's continued violation of this section shall constitute a separate offense and be punishable as such.
