Fees and charges specifically set forth by this chapter are as follows:
A. Annual dog or cat license fee, per animal, is five dollars ($5.00) for the first registration and two dollars fifty cents ($2.50) for each successive and consecutive annual registration for the same animal. Unless the annual registration is continuous the charge shall be the same as an initial registration.
B. Charges allowed for taking animals into custody for any reason, except euthanization, are as follows:
