A. Every person owning and operating a taxicab or taxicabs under license of the city may adopt any trade name, design, color scheme, or other method of painting or lettering such taxicabs as he may desire. Such trade name, design, color scheme or method of painting shall include the name of the owner or the trade name under which he does business painted on each side of the taxicab.
B. Whenever the name of the owner or the trade name under which he does business does not include any of the words "taxicab", "taxi", or "cab", then the word "taxicab" shall be painted on each side of the taxicab immediately beneath the name or trade name.
C. Whenever any person owning or operating a taxicab does not adopt and use a trade name, design, color scheme, or method of painting and lettering as mentioned in this section, it shall be mandatory for said person to paint on this taxicab the name of the owner and/or operator, the word "taxicab", and the serial number assigned to the taxicab by the city clerk. This matter shall be painted on each side of the taxicab and shall cover no less than ten inches by twelve inches (10" x 12"). The form of the painting shall be substantially as follows:
