This chapter shall apply to any person drilling an original well, reentering an abandoned well, conducting natural or artificial production projects or operations, or maintaining a disposal well within the city of Warr Acres on the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter and every such person shall have no longer than ninety (90) days to come into compliance with this chapter. Provided, that:
A. No initial permit fees shall be charged such person as would otherwise apply;
B. No penalties shall be sought against any activity violative of this chapter where such activity preexisted the adoption of this chapter and was otherwise in compliance with the applicable state law, rules, regulations, standards or directives. (Ord. 528 §1, 1982)
