§ 50.10 UNIVERSAL GARBAGE REMOVAL.
    The Board has instituted universal garbage removal for all residents of the village, whereby the village will pay the cost of trash removal service and bill each household in the village the then current charge per month for said service. Every property or premises within the village, which is receiving water services, will be charged the then current monthly trash removal fee, as stated in the then current contract between the village and the waste hauler. The trash removal fee will be billed as part of the water bill, and all portions of Chapter 51, the Waterworks Ordinance which apply to the enforcement and collection of the water bill, shall also apply to the enforcement and collection of the trash removal fee. Specifically, the village is hereby authorized to shut off the water to a particular property if either the water bill or the trash removal bill is not paid. In addition, all portions of §§ 51.03, 51.04, 51.05, 51.06 and 51.07 shall be applicable to the enforcement and collection of trash removal fees in the same way as water fees. All prior trash removal charges imposed by the village are hereby ratified and confirmed.
