The City shall not be liable, by reason of the issuance of a permit under this chapter, for the costs of construction or installation of a sewer, drain or tile, nor shall the City be liable for any defective construction of the same during the one-year period following completion of the installation or construction to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Service and Safety.
