660.17 SWIMMING IN CONTAMINATED WATER.

(a) No natural or artificial body of water in the City that contains sewage, waste or other contaminating or polluting ingredients rendering the water hazardous to health shall be used for swimming or bathing purposes by any person.

(1978 Code § 95.01)

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
