(a) The term of the persons to be appointed by the Mayor shall be three years. The member from the Streets and Alleys Committee of City Council shall be appointed annually. The term of the Mayor shall be consistent with the elected term for the Mayor.
(b) In the event that a vacancy shall occur during the term of any member appointed by the Mayor, his or her successor shall be appointed by the Mayor for the unexpired portion of the term. In the event that a vacancy shall occur during the term of the member appointed by the City Council, his or her successor shall be appointed by the City Council for the unexpired portion of the term.
