The standard work week is forty hours for all hourly employees, except as follows:
(a) The standard work period for employees of the Fire Department shall be 28 days, during which fire- fighters and captains shall be scheduled to work 212 hours per period.
(b) The standard work period for all part-time positions, as designated by the Director of Public Service and Safety, is as required.
