Whenever a part-time employee works for a period less than the regularly established number of hours a day, days a week, or weeks a month, the amount paid shall be in proportion to the time actually employed for this class, unless special circumstances require revisions of the rate. Such revision shall be subject to the approval of the Director of Public Service and Safety or the responsible City official.
