(a) The City shall provide the Police Chief, police dispatchers and the Fire Chief with an initial set of clothing (hereinafter referred to as initial issue), as each initial issue is designated and described in the Wapakoneta Police Department Uniform Dress Code, and the Wapakoneta Fire Department Rules and Regulations, with said initial issue to be provided upon such new member being sworn into service in said department.
(b) The City shall allot the following annual uniform and clothing allowance as follows:
During the calendar year following the year of entry into service with the City, and annually thereafter, the following allowances will be paid from the General Fund:
Police Chief | $500.00 |
Fire Chief | $500.00 |
Police Dispatchers | $400.00 |
(c) The Auditor shall pay said allowance and for said initial issue, according to the provisions of this section, to the credit of each member of the Police and Fire Departments, when vouchers are properly presented to the Auditor for payment.
