(a) In addition to the Director of Public Service and Safety and the Police Chief, the Police Department shall be composed of such officers and other members as are specified by ordinance.
(b) A person between the ages of twenty-one years and thirty-six years, inclusive, may receive an original appointment as an officer in the Police Department.
(c) All officers and other members as are specified by ordinance shall, during service to the City, reside either in Auglaize County, Ohio or in any county immediately adjacent to Auglaize County in the State of Ohio.
