(a) The following is hereby adopted on behalf of the City as the "Mission Statement" of the City:
It is the mission of the Wapakoneta City government to provide for and promote the general health, safety and welfare of all residents of the City by delivering services in a professional, impartial and cost-effective manner; planning for the long-range development and improvement of the City; and being responsive to the individual needs of City residents, with an awareness of all the City's collective needs.
(b) The Mission Statement set forth herein shall set the standard for all City employees and elected officials as they collectively manage, maintain and provide service to and on behalf of the residents, businesses and industries in the City.
