220.11 HEARING OF CHARGES AGAINST OFFICERS; ACTION OF COUNCIL.
   When charges are filed with Council by the Mayor pursuant to Section 232.10, such charges shall be heard at the next regular meeting of Council, unless Council extends the time for such hearing, which shall be done only on the application of the accused. The accused may appear in person and by counsel, examine all witnesses and answer all charges against him or her. The judgment or action of the Council shall be final, but to remove such officer, the votes of two-thirds of all members elected to the Council shall be required.
