1490.05   COMPLIANCE REQUIRED; APPLICATION OF CODE.
   Every building in a County Home District, Business District, Industrial District and Office Building District, and the premises on which it is situated in the Village, which is owned, maintained, used or intended to be used for dwelling, accessory building and/or structure, retail, commercial, business, manufacturing or industrial occupancy, shall comply with this Exterior Property Maintenance Code, whether or not such building has been constructed, altered or repaired before or after the enactment of this Code (Ordinance 1983-29, passed June 21, 1983), and irrespective of any permit or license which has been issued for the use or occupancy of the building or for the installation or repair of equipment or facilities prior to the effective date of this Code (Ordinance 1983-29, passed June 21, 1983). This Code establishes minimum standards for the initial and continued occupancy and use of all such buildings and does not replace or modify standards otherwise established for the construction, repair, alteration or use of the building, except as provided in Section 1490.06. Where there is mixed occupancy, Country Home District, Business District, Industrial District and Office Building District uses therein shall nevertheless be regulated by and subject to this Code.
